How To Experience Great Growth - Part 4 (Setting Our Affections)

If we are not growing then we are dying. A tree that is grown is strong through storms, has deep roots through dry times. It offers the animals protection and food. Growth is essential for us to fulfill our God given purpose in this life.

Jesus grew by serving.

Jesus served to win our hearts.

Jesus was able to serve with the right heart because He had set His affections on pleasing His Father.

The heart – People cannot consistently live differently than what is in their heart. The heart takes time to change. Jesus told the church in the book of Revelation you lost your first love, but you could get it back again.
