“For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.” — Romans 5:17 (NKJV)
Jesus didn’t come just to save us from sin—He came to restore us to rulership. He said in Luke 10:19, “I give you authority… over all the power of the enemy.” That’s not symbolic. It’s spiritual reality. You were created to reign—not one day in heaven—but in life, right now, through Christ.
Paul gives us the key: those who receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness will reign. That means you don’t reign by trying harder—you reign by receiving. Grace positions you. Righteousness qualifies you. Your authority doesn’t come from your performance—it comes from your position in Christ.
But reigning doesn’t mean dominating others—it means walking in victory over sin, fear, shame, and every scheme of the enemy. It means speaking with boldness, living with purpose, and responding to life from a place of peace, not panic.
When you know you’re righteous in Christ, you stop letting guilt rob your confidence. You stop bowing to fear and start standing in faith. You become a thermostat instead of a thermometer—you don’t just reflect your surroundings; you shift the atmosphere with the presence and power of God.
This is what Jesus died to give you. Not a fragile faith or a back-row existence—but a bold, Spirit-filled life of impact. You’re not just surviving—you’re reigning. And not because you have it all together, but because He does.
So today, receive His grace again. Embrace your righteousness. And stand up in the authority He’s given you. You were made to reign—not as a tyrant, but as a son or daughter of the King. The enemy has no right to rule where Christ lives—and Christ lives in you.
