Day 15: The Mind of Christ

“But we have the mind of Christ.” — 1 Corinthians 2:16 (NKJV)

“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 2:5 (NKJV)

Jesus said in Matthew 11:29, “Learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” He wasn’t just offering facts about God—He was inviting us to a new way of thinking. One shaped by humility, trust, and surrender.

Paul echoes that invitation. He doesn’t say we’re trying to earn the mind of Christ—he says we already have it. You have the mind of Christ. That means you have access to His wisdom, His priorities, and His perspective. You’re not stuck with an old mindset—you’ve been given a new one.

But just because you have it doesn’t mean you’re using it. That’s why Paul also says, “Let this mind be in you…” In other words, you must yield to it. You must let the Word of God rewire how you think, how you decide, how you respond.

The mind of Christ is formed in you as you renew your mind with truth. As you meditate on the Word, old thought patterns are replaced with His thoughts. Pride gives way to humility. Fear gives way to peace. Self-focus gives way to a servant’s heart.

This world will try to tell you who you are and how to think—but you are not conformed to this world. You are transformed by the renewing of your mind. And that renewal happens when you stop letting your thoughts run wild and start letting His thoughts shape your mind.

Today, ask the Holy Spirit to help you think like Jesus. He’s not asking you to perform—He’s asking you to partner. As you think His thoughts, you’ll walk in His ways.
