Day 58: Not Ashamed of the Gospel

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes…” — Romans 1:16 (NKJV)

Jesus didn’t hide who He was—and He made it clear that following Him meant standing with Him. “If anyone is ashamed of Me and My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when He comes in His glory…” (Luke 9:26). The gospel was never meant to be tucked away—it’s meant to be proclaimed with boldness and love.

Paul wasn’t afraid to speak the name of Jesus in public. He wasn’t worried about cultural pressure or political correctness. Why? Because he knew something: the gospel is power. Not just words or ideas, but transforming, saving, supernatural power.

And Paul had been transformed by that power himself. He had once opposed Jesus with a hardened heart—but then encountered the love of God firsthand. He knew where he was headed without the gospel, and now he lived with a deep love for those who were just as lost and hardened as he had been. He ministered out of the overflow. That’s what love does—it compels us.

You don’t have to be eloquent—you just have to be unashamed. When you share Jesus, you’re not promoting religion; you’re announcing rescue. You’re introducing people to the Savior who died for them, rose for them, and still saves today.

The world needs bold believers, not perfect ones. People are looking for real answers, real hope, and real love. You carry all three in the message of the cross.

So don’t be silent. Let the gospel flow from your lips and your life. It’s not your job to convince or convict—that’s the Holy Spirit’s work. But it is your job to open your mouth, open your life, and open the door for Jesus to walk through.

You are not ashamed, because you know the One who saved you. And as you receive more revelation of His love and truth, fear will shrink and boldness will rise. The more you realize what you've been given, the more your heart will long to help others find the same. You’ll live to help the lost around you—because love has filled your heart.

Let the world see your confidence—not in yourself, but in Christ. Let them see that you're unashamed, because you’ve been transformed.
