Day 59: Make Disciples Who Multiply

“And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” — 2 Timothy 2:2 (NKJV)

Jesus didn’t say, “Go and gather crowds.” He said, “Go and make disciples.” Discipleship is about multiplication, not just addition. It’s one life impacting another with the goal of spiritual reproduction. Jesus poured into a few so that the many could be reached through them.

Paul understood this strategy. He didn’t just preach—he trained. He didn’t just teach—he equipped others to teach. In 2 Timothy 2:2, he described four generations of impact: Paul to Timothy, Timothy to faithful men, and those men to others also. That’s multiplication. That’s the mission.

You don’t have to be a Bible scholar to make disciples. You just have to be available. What God has done in you, He wants to do through you. The wisdom you’ve received isn’t meant to stay bottled up. It’s meant to be passed on—life to life, heart to heart.

Disciple-making starts with relationship. It’s not about lecturing—it’s about walking alongside someone, helping them grow, challenging them to obey, and encouraging them to keep going. Discipleship is love in action. It’s taking responsibility for someone else’s spiritual growth, just like someone once did for you.

You carry a message and a method. Jesus modeled both. Paul reinforced both. And now you’re called to carry them both forward.

So start where you are. Invest in someone who’s hungry. Share what you’ve learned. Help them walk in truth. And teach them to do the same for others. You are part of a chain reaction of grace that reaches the world.

Let your life multiply. You’re not just called to believe—you’re called to reproduce.
