From Agreement to Conviction: Abiding in God’s Word
Day 3: I Receive God's Love For Me:
'I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, WHO LOVED ME AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR ME.”
Galatians 2:20 (NKJV Emphasis mine)
Read it – Let it in your heart by reading out loud to yourself.
Think it – Picture in your minds eye, how you are united with Christ. The old You was crucified with Him and also resurrected as a new creation. By faith we believe this truth and receive the benefits of this new life united with Him. Every day Jesus is living through you. What do you see through this verse as you meditate on it?
Pray it – Give thanks and ask Holy Spirit to give your inner man the revelation, understanding, into how absolutely loved you are.
Say it – Write it out with your own handwriting and declare out loud that you are loved. Jesus showed you by giving Himself for you. His love is undeserved on our part and unconditional from Him.
Go out and live it! Expect the love of God to be experienced all day long to you and through you to others.
